Hillside Fellowship believes that Jesus Changes Everything! Our communications team is focused on our mission of making disciples by cultivating communication channels and materials that lead people into a deeper relationship with Jesus. The Communications Project Coordinator will support the Communications Team Lead as a project manager responsible for the development and management of content and materials in alignment with Hillside’s mission and the strategy of the Communications team.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with the Communications Team to promote ministry-specific events and ministry-specific content that are consistent with Hillside’s communication strategy, branding, and style guide
  • Assist in the management and coordination of our photography and writing serve teams by maintaining the team schedule, developing and hosting applicable training, and recruiting additional volunteers
  • Manage all projects within graphic design, videography, photography, copywriting, and print materials in alignment with the established scope, schedule, and budget
  • Act as the primary liaison and manager for all outside vendors, including but limited to graphic design, videography, copywriting, photography, and print
  • Provide basic graphic design and copywriting as needed, in a manner that is consistent with Hillside’s branding and style guide
  • Performs other special projects and communications duties as assigned.

QUALIFICATIONS & REQUIREMENTS:

  • Demonstrates a maturing relationship with Jesus Christ and embodies the culture/values of Hillside (Galatians 5:22-23)
  • A college degree is required; a degree in communications is preferred
  • Must have project management experience with graphic design, photography, videography, and/or copywriting; experience in a ministry setting is preferred
  • Must be highly detail-oriented, organized, and process-driven
  • Must have strong project management skills and the ability to function as a servant-leader
  • Proficiency with multiple computer programs, including Microsoft Office, Google Suite, Mailchimp, and Asana
  • Ability to pass a background check is required
  • Must be a member of Hillside Fellowship or willing to pursue membership

SCHEDULE: Mon-Fri, as well as occasional evening/weekend responsibilities

HOURS: Full-Time

STATUS: Exempt
